This has always been the go to ice cream place for us, close to the kids schools and now within walking distance from where we live. The lines can be long, especially the drive through because it’s so good. Portions are also big. I usually get a kids size and it’s large enough.

Good ice cream flavors/Sundaes, generous portions. Has a nice shady place to sit outside. No bathrooms are available though. Appears to have drive- through, though not sure how you'd drive and eat a cone, haha!

The Village Scoop is a pretty cool place to stop and get some great ice cream. They have outdoor seating and a drive thru!! Most ice cream places I've ever been to don't have drive thrus, so that is a pretty awesome feature. They also serve one of our favorite haed ice cream flavors, lemon meringue pie. It's delicious and we have only been able get it in Maine where we vacation.

I recently had my first visit to The Village Scoop, and it was such an enjoyable experience from start to finish. The shop has a cozy, inviting atmosphere that feels very community-centered, and the staff were friendly, patient, and happy to answer questions about their flavors. The service was quick but never rushed, which made the whole experience feel relaxed. For my treat, I chose two scoops of hard ice cream in a cup, Sea Salted Caramel Truffle and Cookies 'n Cream. Both flavors were excellent. The Sea Salted Caramel Truffle was rich, creamy, and had just the right balance of sweet and salty, with delightful truffle chunks throughout. The Cookies 'n Cream was classic and satisfying, with plenty of cookie pieces in each bite. One of the best parts of the visit was being able to sit outside under a tree on a bench while I enjoyed my ice cream. The outdoor seating area was peaceful and shaded, making it the perfect spot to relax and savor each scoop. Overall, The Village Scoop offers great ice cream, warm service, and a lovely outdoor space to enjoy your treat. I’m excited to return and try even more flavors!
